2019 Top Candidates

The first Primary was April 30th for NC 03. 20 Republicans filed to run and 17 remained in this race.

RESULT: Greg Murphy received 22% of the vote and Joan Perry, 15%. They head to the NC 03 Special Election Primary Runoff on July 9th.

The NC 03 Special (General) Election for NC 03 is on October 10, 2019. The Democrat challenger is Allen Thomas.

NC 03 is open due to the passing of Walter Jones (R) who died on his 76th birthday, February 10th. Representative Jones won the seat in 2018 by 67% – 33%. The seat is solid red, but Jones had one of the worst voting records of all Republicans in voting in support of President Trump. Let’s hope that the new Representative will stand with our President!

North Carolina’s Districts 3 & 9

North Carolina’s 9th District Special Election due to voter fraud on the Republican side on May 14th was won by Dan Bishop, beating 9 other Republican candidates. Dan Bishop will face Democrat Dan McCready on 09-10.
