Campaign Corner received the following submission from Adam Carbone, Candidate for Mayor of Cranston. RI. Adam is running a very “out-of-the-box” campaign. At first glance, one may be tempted to write him off due to some of the silliness that surrounds his candidacy including a proposed new party name and a few fun platform issues. However, a closer look into his campaign shows that he supports lower taxes, cutting government waste and working to help make all city animal shelters become no-kill facilities. Campaign Corner appreciates these very honest and encouraging words written by a Democrat candidate in support of President Trump!
“My name is Adam Carbone and I’m running for Mayor of Cranston, Rhode Island. I feel like i’m in a very unique situation in my support for our President. I feel like I’m always outnumbered or shunned for publicly supporting him and it’s very discouraging.
This is essentially me going on record with my full support, and what’s crazy is I’m running as a democrat but making my own bipartisan party. Or attempting to at least. I feel like coming out with this information of supporting our president it could either hurt or help me, and the truth is, at this point, I don’t care what it does. He’s our president and he deserves respect. Sure he’s unorthodox and isn’t politically correct all the time( I am certainly not either) But he won and we have to prop him up as a nation to make him look [good] and not bad to the rest of the world, which is what’s currently happen because of the terribly biased media.
I think our president has done fantastic things like meet with Kim Jong Un, taken bold moves to stop ISIS, very supportive of American business and things of that nature. All very important and often overlooked. So at the end of the day, I’m just here to say I support our president and I see far past rigid party lines. We are here for the people, our country and our president.” ` Adam Carbone – Candidate for Mayor of Cranston RI
