Brandon has lived in Georgia's 6th District for over 25 years and has served in the Georgia State Senate since 2013. He states his reasons for running on his website but has not yet specifically defined his top issues or platform on his site. The Atlanta Journal Constitution (AJC) writes that Brandon Beach's top issues are public education, transportation and job creation. He has supported legislation for legalized casino gambling, the HOPE scholarship and the expansion of mass transit. Brandon wants the federal government to return a portion of our gas tax as block grants to states for capital improvement projects. Brandon's view on our #2 Amendment is expressed very well in an article from the AJC on 08/19/19/

According to AJC State Senator Beach sponsored legislation this year that would ask voters to allow up to three horse-racing tracks in Georgia that could include retail shopping, a hotel and other entertainment. Beach said the appeal of allowing casino gambling or horse racing in Georgia is the jobs it would create. “We already have answered the question of gambling — we have the lottery — and that doesn’t create a lot of jobs,” he said. “This would create thousands of jobs — hotel jobs, restaurant jobs, gaming jobs. With horse racing, it would create jobs (in rural Georgia) with horse farms, hay farms, breeding. That’s what I like about it.”

Brandon gives praise and credit to President Trump for our outstanding economy on his Facebook page, but does not specifically state his support (or opposition) on the overall leadership of our great President or the America 1st Agenda. He has raised about $360k and still has $312k cash on hand as of 06/30/19. His service as a state senator demonstrates that he is qualified for US Congress and also gives him some name recognition. Some voters will consider Brandon's willingness to consider universal background checks and other legislation regarding mental illness and possession of firearms to be anti-#2A. None of his public statements or actions have been found to be disrespectful to President Trump, our Party or US citizens.

"Federal regulations cripple our ability to govern and it is time to make a change. Despite efforts to reform the status quo, Washington is still in gridlock. The Democrats have halted any chance for progress by embracing radical ideals that would destroy employer-based health insurance, impose onerous, job-killing regulations on small businesses and send
the national debt sky-rocketing by more than $100 trillion." ~ Brandon Beach

While President Trump is battling the national emergency at our border, Congress is stonewalling his efforts. Our nation deserves leaders who will secure our borders and enforce our federal immigration laws. No one will work harder to protect our border than Marjorie Greene. She supports building physical barriers at our border to stop illegal crossings and incursions. America has to take back control of our border. ~ greene2020.com

"We deserve better than a Pelosi pawn as our representative in Washington. We need someone who works for our best interests, not just for the Pelosi agenda or to gain national celebrity. I am determined to STOP Nancy Pelosi, special interest groups, and the coastal liberal billionaires that only care about promoting their self-serving liberal agenda. It won’t be easy, but I invite you to join me in the fight to reclaim our district."

Karen Handel lost this seat in 2018. While serving in the 115th Congress, Karen voted in support of President Trump's "MAGA" positions more than 98% of the time.

Nicole Rodden

One of Nicole's Issues is Human Trafficking: Nicole has dedicated much of her volunteer time to making sure our community is aware of the ever-evolving and horrific nature of Human Trafficking. She has worked with several organizations to combat this plague on our city. You can count on Nicole to work with, and encourage collaboration between, all federal and state agencies, local law enforcement, and non-profits to make sure this atrocity is ended both in Atlanta and across our nation. ~ nicoleroddenforcongress.com
