James's Rating: 4 Stars (Rating Criteria)

James is a strong supporter of President Trump and the America First agenda. He is pro-life, pro-#2A and describes himself as a Constitutional Conservative. James is an executive entrepreneur and business owner, and his experience in negotiating and executing complex processes will serve him well as a member of our Congress.

Illinois 14 flipped blue for the first time in many years in 2018, and is a prime target seat for the Republicans to take back in 2020.

James has raised some money but needs more support to get his name and message out to the voters. His 4 star rating reflects his trustworthiness, qualifications, allegiances and alignment with President Trump and our America 1st agenda. With the addition of more financial contributions for his campaign, he will earn a 5th star.

Coach Lou Holtz Endorsement

Ted's Rating: 3 Stars (Rating Criteria)

Ted Gradel became a successful business leader after graduating from college where he walked on to the Notre Dame Football Team. He has served in his community for over 20 years as a youth sports coach and mentor. He was named by the National Republican Congressional Committee as an "On the Radar" candidate in August 2019.

Ted knows that the liberals want to interfere with the rewards that a free market brings, and wants to fight to keep America the greatest in the world as a US Congressman. He stands against career politicians and wants to pass term limits in congress. He opposes progressive tax hikes, want to freeze property taxes and make the recent tax cuts permanent. Ted believes that the greatest threat to our national security is our out of control debt. Ted agrees with having a strong military in line with Ronald Reagan's term "peace through strength".  The Federal Election Commission file on Ted shows close to 300k cash on hand and 30k debt as of June 30, 2019.

No mention of President Trump is found on Ted Gradel's website, Twitter or Facebook page. Ted posted a letter to IL 14 Incumbent Lauren Underwood (D) opposing efforts of Impeachment without mention or support for our President. Ted's platform aligns with our President on Taxes and Foreign Policy. No mention of President Trump was found in any public statements, either positive or negative.

In 2019, thanks to President Trump’s Tax Cuts and Job’s Act, Catalina left the Administration to help her father grow his business, focusing on a new product launch and leading the company’s sales and distribution initiatives. ~ from catalinaforcongress.com

"Young men and women before us have risked far more than we have in the name of Freedom and Liberty against tyranny. As Americans, we all have a duty in our lifetime to preserve it, and when called... a duty to step up and defend it.” - Catalina Lauf
