Rob ran for the state House in 2000 under the Democratic-Farmer-Labor (DFL) Party. After switching to the Republican Party he served in the state House for 3 terms from 2010 - 2017 where he voted against raising state taxes, against raising the minimum wage, against allowing students from using facilities designated for the opposite sex and in general voted in line with the Republicans.

Rob is Pro-Life and had a 100% rating from Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life, and a 0% rating from NARAL Pro-Choice. His votes as a US House Representative for the state of Minnesota also reflected high scores from fiscally and socially conservative groups, and he has an A rating from the NRA.

In the past Rob had a legal issue with his residency requirement for serving in the state House being questioned and with one sentence of misinformation about an opponent in a campaign brochure that was printed and distributed.

The Campaign Corner supports President Trump 100% and rates candidates according to their alignment with our President and the America First agenda. Rob has not yet made his stance clear on the most important aspects of making and keeping America great. As his campaign develops moving forward, he may receive a higher rating if he moves towards embracing our great President's leadership.

God Bless Minnesota
